Each CrossFit session features the WOD (Workout of the Day.) CrossFit workouts change daily and so no two sessions are ever the same. A WOD can consist of any combination of dumbell or kettlebell work, air squats, Olympic Weightlifting, calisthenics, pull ups, overhead press, burpees, running, box jumps, deadlifts, skipping ropes, rope climbing and so much more.
The most intensive strengh-focussed sessions of the week. Barbell Club turbo-charges your results with Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting. We work on technique, strength and stability. Expect to push beyond your limits.
Exactly what it suggests. The gym is yours to roam around freely at your own pace, using all the equipment in whichever way you choose. Go hard or take it easy... Our qualified instructors are on hand to help if you need. it.
Bring along the little ones at no extra charge. CrossFit Coastal Edge offers a safe and stimulating play area where the kids can see you and you can keep an eye on them.

CrossFit is one of the world’s newest sports, launched in the USA in 2000. It’s a fitness method, training against a clock or against a given task. Every workout is different, consisting mainly of a mix of aerobic exercise, calisthenics (where you use your own body weight to improve strength), gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. It has quickly turned into a global phenomenon. There are now more than 250 CrossFit gyms across Australia. While CrossFit can be used for general fitness across all ages and abilities - and just for fun – there are also hard-core competitions nationally and globally for all ages up to 60+. CrossFitters make up some of the fittest athletes on the planet.
CROSSFIT COASTAL EDGE is brand new to Salamander Bay. Our highly stimulating workouts are customised and modified to help each athlete achieve his or her goals. The CrossFit community encourages and motivates each other and results are impressive.
